!!!Zacherl, Johann Evangelist

Zacherl, Johann Evangelist, b. Munich (Germany), 1814, 
d. Vienna, June 30, 1888, manufacturer. Developed an 
effective moth protection product made from chrysanthemum blossoms. 
The building which housed his company (in Vienna´s 19%%sup th/%  
district) was constructed for him in an Islamic style by 
K. Mayreder in the years 1888-1892; he also commissioned J.  
Plečnik to construct the office building "Z.-Haus" in 
Vienna´s 1%%sup st/%  district in 1903-1905.
