!!!Zangl, Josef Gregor

b. Stainach (Tyrol), March 12, 1821, 
d. Brixen/Bressanone (South Tyrol), March 6, 1897, composer and 
priest, cathedral organist of Brixen/Bressanone. In 1856 founded the 
"Caecilienverein" in honour of the patron saint of music, Cecilia, 
which became the precursor of the General German Cecilian Association.
