Zeiller, Johann Jakob, b. Reutte (Tirol), July 8, 1708, 
d. Reutte, July 8, 1783, fresco painter; cousin of Franz 
Anton  Zeiller. Studied in Italy; from 1733 pupil of P.  Troger, with 
whom he cooperated closely until 1743. Returned to Reutte around 1755.

Frescoes in Rosenau and Altenburg (both in Lower Austria), 
Suben (Upper Austria), Elbigenalp, Breitenwang and Reutte (all in 
Tirol), Feldkirch (Vorarlberg), Ettal and Ottobeuren (both in 
Bavaria).
