Zelking-Matzleinsdorf, Lower Austria, municipality in the district of 
Melk, alt. 238 m, pop. 1196, 
area 21.16 km%%sup 2/%, in the Melk Valley. - Quartz sand 
works (industrial sands). - Parish church, Romanesque nave and aisles 
with choir (1346), partly altered in Baroque style at the end of the 
16%%sup th/%  century, high altar painting by M. J. Schmidt 
(1791), stained glass windows (end of 14%%sup th/%  century) and 
tombstones with coats-of-arms of the Zelkinger noble family 
(15%%sup th/% , 16%%sup th/%  centuries, 1634); castle ruins 
(documented mention in 1100, in decay since the 17%%sup th/%  
century).
