!!!Zeller, Carl Johann Adam

b. St. Peter in der Au (Lower Austria), June 19, 1842, 
d. Baden (Lower Austria), Aug. 17, 1898, composer of operettas. 
Started out as a legal expert in the Ministry of Education; member of 
the Vienna Boys' Choir; pupil of S.  Sechter. Staged his first 
operetta in 1876; became especially famous for his operetta "Der 
Vogelhaendler", which had its première in 1891.
