Zobernig, Heimo, b. Mauthen (Carinthia), April 30, 1958, 
sculptor. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and the Hochschule fuer 
angewandte Kunst (now University of Applied Art) in Vienna. 1999-2000 
professor at the Staedelschule (academy of fine arts) in Frankfurt am 
Main and since 2000 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Focuses 
particularly on questions of art in the social context.
