!!!Zwillinger, Frank Gerhard

b. Vienna, Nov. 29, 1909, 
d. Garches near Paris (France), Nov. 26, 1989, poet, dramatist, 
scholar of German language and culture. Emigrated to East Asia in 1938 
and lived in Saigon (Vietnam); joined the foreign legion; was 
seriously wounded in 1945 and therefore moved to France, where he 
became the manager of a perfume company. In his poetry (e.g. Gedichte, 
3 vols., 1963), which is characterized by the use of numerous 
metaphors and free rhythm, he dealt with nature, the cosmos and 
religious subjects.
