reihe, die, Wiener Ensemble fuer Neue Musik (Vienna Ensemble for New 
Music) founded in 1958 within the Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft music 
society, directed by F.  Cerha. One of the first ensembles to give 
regular concerts dedicated exclusively to contemporary music. It has 
served as an important role model for the interpretation of music 
since 1945.
