| The Palais Lieben-Auspitz at the Ringstraße in Vienna , next to the Burgtheater . Former residential seat ( Ringstraßenpalais ) of the Jewish aristocratic Lieben and Auspitz families. The Nazis "aryanised" the building in 1938 and forced the owners to flee, many of whom died in exile or the concentration camps. | Das ehemalige Hotel Kummer Ecke Mariahilfer Straße 71 A / Schadekgasse 20 im 6. Wiener Bezirk Mariahilf . Der fünfgeschossige streng historistische Hotelbau wurde nach Plänen der Architekten Eduard Kaiser und Ludwig Tischler nach einem Entwurf von Carl Schumann ab 1870 errichtet und 1872 als „Zum goldenen Kreuz“ von Michael Kummer eröffnet.
