| Four female figures, caryatids, are installed one at each corner on the granite mausoleum. All four are adorned with wings and stand with hands clasped in front and eyes looking toward heaven. Their bare feet rest on a low ledge and their heads touch the roof of the mausoleum. They are all dressed in long dresses with square necklines. Two figures have braided hair, one figure has hair which hangs down around her shoulders, and one figure has a cape pulled around her head. On the back of the mausoleum there is a stained glass window depicting an angel holding a scroll inscribed with the word Peace. Save Outdoor Sculpture, District of Columbia survey, 1993.
