Der reich bemalte Bildstock mit einem 5 m hohe Kruzifix (Gesamthöhe 9 m) ist von Maria und Johannes flankiert. Die Wandmalereien des Bildstocks in der Nähe der Millstätter Straße (Bundesstraße B98), stammen aus dem 14. / 16. Jahrhundert. Eine Steinplatte verweißt auf das Jahr 1520. In früheren Zeiten sind Pilger aus allen Teilen Österreichs, sogar aus Ungarn, zu diesem Kreuz nach Millstatt gekommen. 1 en=The High Cross in Millstatt at Millstätter See in Carinthia / Austria / EU .
