| The Thyssen-Haus in Düsseldorf was the most interesting business building that I saw in Germany.  It was built in 1957-1960 for Phoenix-Rheinrohr AG.  The building is 94 m (308 ft) high.  It is sometimes called the "Dreischeibenhaus" (three-slice building).  A selection of cars from 1960.  The Volkswagen was old, even in 1960.  A one-piece rear window replaced the two-piece window in 1953.  My 1960 VW had a larger, rectangular rear window, which first appeared in 1958.
