The southernmost railway of the world, the Ferrocarril Austral Fueguino ('Southern Fuegian Railway') also called El Tren del Fin del Mundo ('Train of the end of the world'), goes from a station in the vicinity of Ushuaia [{GoogleMap location='Ushuaia, Provinz Tierra del Fuego, Argentinien' zoom='12'}] through the Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego [{GoogleMap location='Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego, Ushuaia, Provinz Tierra del Fuego, Argentinien' zoom='9'}] to the terminal station at the national road. Built in 1909 the railway line was used for the material transport of a prison. After a 40 year disruption the train was reopened in 1994, but as a tourist attraction.

Die südlichste Eisenbahn der Welt, die Ferrocarril Austral Fueguino ('Süd-Feuerländische Eisenbahn') auch El Tren del Fin del Mundo ('Zug am Ende der Welt') genannt, fährt heute in der Nähe von Ushuaia [{GoogleMap location='Ushuaia, Provinz Tierra del Fuego, Argentinien' zoom='12'}] ab und führt durch den Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego [{GoogleMap location='Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego, Ushuaia, Provinz Tierra del Fuego, Argentinien' zoom='9'}] bis zu ihrer Endstation an der Nationalstraße. Die Eisenbahnstrecke wurde 1909 gebaut und diente dem Materialtransport eines Gefängnisses. Nach einer mehr als 40 jährigen Unterbrechung wurde die Bahn 1994 wieder eröffnet, dieses Mal allerdings als Touristenattraktion.
