Denali National Park and Preserve [{GoogleMap location='Deanli park, Alaska' zoom='7'}] is a national park and preserve with Denali (Mount McKinley) as the highlight. 

The park is 24,500 km²large, of which over 8,500 km² were declared as "Denali Wilderness area" in 1980. 

Denali contains a mix of forest at the lowest elevations, including deciduous taiga, and tundra, the latter at middle elevations. 

Higher up, rocky peaks and galciers dominate, the longest glacier being the Kahiltna Glacier.
