Venice Beach [{GoogleMap location='33.9875143,-118.4792248' zoom='10'}] is a 2.1401 mi (4.5 km) long beach at the small town Venice that boards the beach of Santa Monica in the south. The beach is a popular sight for tourists as well as inhabitants. It is famous for the graffiti on walls and houses along the beach. It is also a popular place for sportsmen because it features several volleyball- and basketball-courts, half pipes for skateboarding and the famous Muscle Beach, a training ground for body-builder.
