Shibaozhai [{GoogleMap location='Shibaozhai, Chongqing, China' zoom='14'}] is a steep, rocky, and craggy hill on the bank of the Yangtze River, in Zhong county, Chongqing.

A temple at the crest of the 220 m (722 ft) hill was built in the 18th century. A nine-story wooden pagoda was constructed in the 1819 to aid pilgrims in getting to the top of the hill.

In 1956, three more stories were added. A coffer dam protects the site from higher river waters - the result of the Three Gorges Dam.
