In the first work step, the seeding is carried out in the relatively dry field. Then the fields are flooded. Ploughing with the help of water buffaloes guarantees the best possible mixing of the soil. In the next step, the saplings are transferred by hand from this field into the rice field, a hard job and not quite back-friendly.

Im ersten Arbeitsschritt erfolgt die Aussaat in das relativ trockene Pflanzfeld. Dann werden die Felder geflutet. Das Pflügen mit Hilfe von Wasserbüffeln garantiert eine möglichst gute Durchmischung des Bodens. Im nächsten Schritt werden die Setzlinge per Hand vom Pflanzfeld in das Reisfeld umgesetzt, eine schwere und nicht gerade rückenschonende Tätigkeit.
