Abseits der Hauptstraße führen steinige Pisten und beschauliche Wanderwege durch die beeindruckende Landschaft des Nubra-Tals. Auch wenn ab und zu kleine Chörten, heilige Seen und einsame Dörfer für Abwechslung sorgen, läßt sich doch ein 'Gefühl vom Ende der Welt' kaum unterdrücken.

Away from the main road lead stony slopes and contemplative trails through the stunning landscape of the Nubra Valley. Even if from time to time small choirs, holy lakes and lonely villages provide variety, yet a 'feeling of the end of the world' can hardly be suppressed.
