Es ist ein ganz anderes Ladakh, noch einsamer, noch entlegener, dem Nirwana noch ein Stück näher: Das 4500 m hoch gelegene Gebiet rund um den Tsomoriri-See[{GoogleMap location='Korzok, India' zoom='10'}] beeindruckt mit weiten und kargen Tälern, die kaum bewohnt sind. Schon die Anreise durch das östliche Industal läßt für Liebhaber grandioser Wüstenlandschaften kaum Wünsche offen.

It seems like a different Ladakh, even more desolate, more remote, a bit closer to Nirwana: the 4500 m high area around the Tsomoriri lake[{GoogleMap location='Korzok, India' zoom='10'}] impresses one with broad and barren valleys, which are barely inhabited. Even the journey there through the eastern Indus valley provides a sublime desert landscape.
