The old Ottoman harbor commandant’s office in Hudaydah. Interesting is a very special construction which goes back to the first millennium BC. In Schabwat archaeologists found a very similar construction consisting of broad walls with two similar frame works, one inside and one outside at the façade. Both frame works were connected by joining horizontal wooden members with each other.
