Right next door is Christiansborg Palace, the seat of the Danish Parliament and of the Supreme Court. Up to the present day, guests of state are received in the adjoining "royal state rooms". The complex which has been destroyed repeatedly by devastating fires and rebuilt again and again, presents itself as a mixture of several styles, from Neoclassicism to Neo-Baroque.

Gleich nebenan ragt Schloss Christiansborg in den Himmel, Sitz des dänischen Parlaments und des Obersten Gerichtshofes. In den angeschlossenen „königlichen Repräsentationsräumen“ werden bis heute Staatsgäste empfangen. Der mehrmals durch verheerende Brände zerstörte und immer wieder neu errichtete Gebäudekomplex präsentiert sich als Mischung mehrerer Stilrichtungen zwischen Neoklassik und Neobarock.
