One of the most amazing things in Iceland is that you can dig a hole in the ground and bake bread in it, literally. If you have a hot spring nearby you can cook eggs too and have a most enjoyable breakfast. For tourists this nice "cooking show" is accompanied by strong spirits, herring and fresh Icelandic butter.
