61 m Länge misst das Creevykeel-Megalithgrab[{GoogleMap location='Creevykeel, Ireland' zoom='12'}], das heute, seines Erdhügels beraubt, frei in der Landschaft steht. In den flachen Gruben der Hauptkammern fanden Archäologen die Überreste von vier Brandbestattungen. Die ältesten Grabbeigaben, Pfeilspitzen, Steinbeile und Keramiken deuten auf eine Errichtung der Anlage vor 5000 Jahren hin.

The Creevykeel megalithic grave[{GoogleMap location='Creevykeel, Ireland' zoom='12'}] has a length of 61 metres and, deprived of its mound, stands free in the landscape today. In the shallow pits of the main chambers, archaeologists found the remains of four cremation burials. The oldest burial objects - arrowheads, stone axes and ceramics - indicate that the complex was built about 5000 years ago.
