Der Earl of Dunraven ließ Adare[{GoogleMap location='Adare, Ireland' zoom='9'}] im 19. Jahrhundert als 'pittoreskes, englisches Dorf' errichten. Der Adelige wollte sich damit ein kleines Stück Heimat mitten in Irland schaffen. Bis heute wirkt das Städtchen mit seinen strohgedeckten Häusern und schönen Stadtparks ein wenig künstlich, ständig belagert von unzähligen Touristen.

The Earl of Dunraven had Adare[{GoogleMap location='Adare, Ireland' zoom='9'}] built in the 19th century as a 'picturesque English village'. The nobleman wanted to create a small piece of home in the middle of Ireland. To this day, the town with its thatched houses and beautiful city parks is a bit out of place - artificial and constantly mobbed by countless tourists.
