Protected by numerous castles, a village named Tirol[{GoogleMap location='Dorf Tirol' zoom='11'}] rises above the Val d’Adige, perfectly located to get the best view. The unexciting settlement is literally suffocated by an excess of tourists, who descend upon the resort from the nearby Merano. Almost every building houses an enterprise dealing with tourism.

Von zahlreichen Burgen geschützt, erhebt sich in bester Aussichtlage über dem Etschtal das Dorf Tirol[{GoogleMap location='Dorf Tirol' zoom='11'}]. Die wenig aufregende Ansiedlung erstickt förmlich am Fremdenüberschuss, der vom nahen Meran über den Ferienort hereinbricht. Fast jedes Haus beherbergt einen Tourismusbetrieb.
