Right in the first courtyard, a special well house strikes the eye. In its paintings it shows the Seven Wonders of the World: the Colossus of Rhodes, the Temple of Artemis in Ephesus, the Tomb of the King Mausolos in Halicarnassus, the Hanging Gardens of Semiramis in Babylon, the Pyramids of Giza, the Lighthouse of Alexandria, the Statue of Zeus at Olympia and just as the 8th wonder of the world - the monastery Neustift.

Gleich im ersten Hof fällt der Weltwunderbrunnen ins Auge. Er zeigt in Gemälden die sieben antiken Weltwunder: den Koloss von Rhodos, den Artemistempel in Ephesus, das Grab des Königs Mausolos in Halikarnassos, die hängenden Gärten der Semiramis in Babylon, die Pyramiden von Gizeh, den Leuchtturm von Alexandria, die Zeusstatue von Olympia und gleichsam als 8. Weltwunder – das Kloster Neustift.
