Scalloway [{GoogleMap location='Scalloway, Großbritannien und Nordirland' zoom='13'}] on the west coast was the capital of the Shetland Islands until 1708 and nowadays has a population of less than 1.000 inhabitants. Scalloway Castle was built in 1600 and dominates the panorama of the harbour.
