__Just a few points to explain why Austria-Forum is special. Deutsche Version darunter!__

# All  information has at least a minimal connection to Austria
# In addition to a powerful search, the information is structured, so sometimes searching, sometimes using the structure is more effective
# At the moment is has over 1,5 million multimedia objects as shown at the bottom of the main page https://austria-forum.org/ and some 6.000 digitized books
# It has some 5 million accesses a year, mainly by kids, students, but also journalists, politicians, etc. 
# At any time there are thousands of user-sessions in the system 
# It has some novel technical features. Typically, NID (Net Interactive Document), see English descriptions (some slightly obsolete) at the bottom of column 2 of the page [Neuigkeiten]. Or try  the search for objects: Like if you go to  the English book [https://www.nid-library.com/Home/ViewBook/1775], click the icon that looks like a magnifyign classs (upper left side)  and then type bicycle. It now shows you all pages that contain the word bicycle but more impressive, all pages with a picture of a bicycle.
# It has an increasing number of AI features, like our own GPT system (you activate it by clicking at the small robot on top of each page) that is designed to avoid „halucinations“ almost 100% (a technical novelty)
# It has an updated list of particular remarkable stuff under „Diamanten“ (diamonds), see [Austria-Forum/Diamanten] and choose e.g. Architektur und Musik  and there  item 8. or 9.
# It has been and is supported by editors that work free of charge! For some  doing this work has turned into their main reason for their life, see [Infos_zum_AF/Editorial_Board]. 
# See list of recent large donators in „The hall of fame“ [Neuigkeiten/Ruhmeshalle_des_Austria-Forums] . The largest individual donation there was 10.000.- ! There have been still larger donations by organizations in the past, the two largest over 1 million!  And there are promises of forthcoming donations still larger. 
# Currrent head: H. Maurer at [User/Maurer Hermann] with a long CVs in English and German, see right part of first text line. Currently, a new head is searched for, for whom Maurer will then just act as advisor.

# Alle Informationen haben zumindest einen minimalnen Bezug zu Österreich.
# Zusätzlich zu einer starken Suche sind die Informationen auch strukturiert, was die Suche oft erleichert
# Aktuell umfasst das System über 1,5 Millionen Multimedia-Objekte (siehe unten auf der Startseite [https://austria-forum.org]) und rund 6.000 digitalisierte Bücher.
#Es verzeichnet jährlich etwa 5 Millionen Zugriffe, hauptsächlich von Kindern und Schülern, aber auch von Journalisten, Politikern usw.
#Zu jedem  Zeitpunkt befinden sich tausende Benutzersitzungen im System.
#Es bietet einige innovative technische Funktionen, insbesondere NID (Net Interactive Document). Die englischen Beschreibungen (teilweise nich ganz aktuell) finden Sie unten in Spalte 2 der Seite [Neuigkeiten]. Oder versuchen Sie es mit der Objektsuche: Gehen Sie beispielsweise zum englischen Buch [https://www.nid-library.com/Home/ViewBook/1775], klicken Sie auf das Lupensymbol (oben links) und geben Sie dann „Fahrrad“ ein. Daraufhin werden Ihnen alle Seiten angezeigt, die das Wort „Fahrrad“ enthalten, und – noch beeindruckender – alle Seiten mit einem Bild eines Fahrrads.
# Es verfügt über immer mehr KI-Funktionen, wie unser eigenes GPT-System (aktivierbar durch Klicken auf den kleinen Roboter oben auf jeder Seite), das entwickelt wurde, um „Halluzinationen“ nahezu vollständig zu vermeiden (eine technische Neuheit).
# Eine aktualisierte Liste besonders bemerkenswerter Inhalte finden Sie unter „Diamanten“ (siehe [Austria-Forum/Diamanten]). Wählen Sie dort beispielsweise „Architektur und Musik“ und anschließend Punkt 8 oder 9.
# Es wurde und wird von ehrenamtlichen Redakteuren unterstützt! Für einige ist diese Arbeit sogar zum Lebensinhalt geworden (siehe [Infos_zum_AF/Editorial_Board]).
# Eine Liste der jüngsten Großspender finden Sie in der „Ruhmeshalle“ (siehe [Neuigkeiten/Ruhmeshalle_des_Austria-Forums]). Die höchste Einzelspende betrug 10.000 €! In der Vergangenheit gab es bereits höhere Spenden von Organisationen, die beiden größten sogar über einer Million! Und es sind noch höhere Spenden in Aussicht gestellt.
# Aktueller Leiter: H. Maurer [User/Maurer Hermann] mit einem ausführlichen Lebenslauf in Englisch und Deutsch (siehe rechte Seite der ersten Textzeile). Derzeit wird ein neuer Leiter gesucht, dem Maurer dann beratend zur Seite stehen wird.
