!!!Jakob, Winifried Winnie

Jakob, Winifried ("Winnie"), b. Liberec, Czech Republic (then 
Reichenberg), May 17, 1927, caricaturist and writer. Studied at the 
school of arts and crafts in Linz, since 1959 caricaturist for 
newspapers in Austria ("Kurier", "Wiener Zeitung", "Salzburger 
Nachrichten") and in Germany and Switzerland. Also book illustrations, 
work for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) and numerous 
international exhibitions.
