Düringer, Roland#
Dueringer, Roland, b. Vienna, Oct. 31, 1963, actor, cabaret artist. 1984 co-founded the cabaret group "Schlabarett", which performed five different programmes up until 1988; 1993 wrote the script for and played the leading role in the film "Muttertag" ("Mother´s Day"). One of the most popular Austrian cabaret artists; together with A. Dorfer and the director H. Sicheritz created the television series "MA 2412" (1998). Awarded the Austrian Kleinkunstpreis (prize for cabaret) for his first solo programme "Hinterholzacht" (1994), the Golden Romy for best Austrian actor in 1999, and the Bronze Leopard at the Film Festival in Locarno in 2000.
