b. Sterzing/Vipiteno (South Tyrol), April 3, 1851, d. St. Michael near Bozen/Bolzano (South Tyrol), Dec. 9, 1913. Numismatist, director of the k. k. Coin and Antique Collection. As a Tyrolean regional writer, D. belonged to the "Gral-Kreis" ("Grail" Circle) around R. Kralik: D. wrote Tyrolean regional novels and popular plays.
