Dam Closure The documents should be sent to Dam Safety Unit in this phase are: 1) Detail planning about termination, demolition of dam (if needed), including environment restoration, and safety of the environment. CONCLUSION Approval of the construction and management of dams in Indonesia is divided into four phases, namely the approval of design and construction, the initial charge, operation, and closure dam. This is intended to minimize the risk of dam failure and function in accordance with the purpose of development as well as to ensure the safety of the dam. 993
