Mirjana Repanić-Braun, art historian, research associate at the Institute of Art History in Zagreb, Croatia. From 2001 to 2013 head of two research projects on Croatian Baroque art in Central European context, and from 2014 a research partner on one of the projects approved by the Croatian Research Agency. Presently concerned with the visual arts and the communi- cation of power in the Early Modern Period, as well as with matters of style and authorship in Croatian Baroque painting of Central European origin. Associate professor, mentor and guest lecturer at the University of Zagreb, PhD studies. Since 2004 editor in chief of the Journal of the Institute of Art History. Stefan Schmidl, musicologist, 2004 D.Phil. (University of Vienna), since 2005 researcher at the Austrian Academy of Sciences (Commission for Music Research, since 2013 IKM). 2013 appointed professor for music history at the Conservatory Vienna (now Music and Arts Uni- versity of the City of Vienna), since 2015 deputy director of the Institute for Research based there. Monographs include the first German-language biography of Jules Massenet (2012) and a study on the audio-visual representation of Emperor Francis Joseph I (together with Werner Telesko, 2016). Stefan Seitschek, historian and archivist, wrote his university thesis on sources of the Viennese court ceremonial during the reign of Charles VI. Since 2010 he has worked in the Austrian State Archives (Allgemeines Verwaltungs-, Finanz und Hofkammerarchiv; responsible for “Adel- sarchiv” and “Alte Hofkammer”). Presently concerned with the diaries of Charles VI, he has written numerous publications on the Viennese court. Filip Šimetin Šegvić is a historian and a PhD-student of Modern and Contemporary Croa- tian history in a European and World Context at the University of Zagreb. His specific inter- ests include a wider range of topics, among them the history of historiography, the history of the Habsburg Empire (from the late 17th to the 20th century), Fin de siècle Zagreb-Vienna and the intellectual history.
