It operates in more than 700 cities across 65 countries and completes 17 million trips every day (Smith 2020). Theplatform thatUber has created has had a significant impact on jobs. Twenty thousand jobs are created everymonth through Uber, and thousands of entrepreneurs are using it to build their small businesses (Kasselman2014). This showshowwellUber discovered, evaluated and exploited the opportunities. 2.4 Practical Guide for Adopting theDigital Entrepreneurial Mindset The developments in the area of data-driven, cloud-enabled, and platform-centric activities give rise to the question of how businesses can become digital.
