present the output of this in practice. This chapter provides the foundation for not only theuseofdigital technologiesbut also specificexamplesof its use and results. By focusing on the role of specific digital technologies (artificial intelligence, vir- tual reality and the Internet of things), the chapter furthers the understandingof the impactofdigital technologiesonentrepreneurship ingeneral andspecificallyon the creativity required for the successful start, operation and growth of a newventure. This chapterdiscussesand illustrates the importanceof creativity indigital business as a result of the numerous changes occurring at an increasing rate. Digital busi- nesses will find it difficult to not only compete for sales but also for talented employees. Future research must further refine its use by entrepreneurs, examine various uses across size and industry of the entrepreneurs and their organisations, and develop specific models, rather than the general model proposed in this research, in areas such as the customer purchasingprocess, innovation, distribution systems and channels, and various promotion activities. Indeed, future research in the area of digital technologies unleashing the creativity of entrepreneurs is promising. We are allmoving towards digital enhancement, and companies should be able to trainwith, collaborateand interactwithdigital technologies togeneratenoveland useful ideas. As the world of digital technologies and human creativity continues expanding, it is time to stopworrying aboutwhether digital technologies can foster creativity and focus on how the human and machine worlds can intersect for creative collaborations that havenever beendreamtof.Rather thanworry about the rise ofAI,VRand the IoT, businesses should embrace the opportunity technology isbringing tounleashanewwaveofhumancreativityandpowerhumanenterprise. Such technologies can free up time spent on innovating, providenewcombinations of technologies to enable better ways of working and help guide us on the path towards evenmore effective creative ideas to be implemented in various stages of business. It is therefore fundamental to entrepreneurs and their teams tounderstand what is happening in the field of creativity, as it is tremendously impacted by digitisation.
