2.6.DriverModel
Thefunctionof thedrivermodel is tosimulate therealdriver’s controllability.Andthedriver
modeldiagramisshowninFigure9. Thedrivercontrols theacceleratoror thebrakingpedalopening
basedonthedifferencebetweentherealvelocityanddrivingcyclevelocity. Theproportional–integral
(PI) controller is selectedfor thedrivermodel [30].
