Energies 2017,10, 315 themainpurposewas tovalidate thepower lossdue to lateralmisalignment, andalso tovalidate theoperatingconceptof theproposedsensorcoil. Because thefirstexperimentoperatedneara90W power level, a static load (10Ω resistor)wasused insteadof the experimental vehiclebecause the statedpower levelexceededtherecommendedoperationsettingsusedintheexperimentalvehicle. For the secondexperiment, themainpurposewas tovalidate theoverall operating conceptof the ACAS.ThesameDWCsystemfromthefirstexperimentwereused, but thepower levelwasreduced to10W,so that theexperimentalvehiclecouldbeused. Theoperationof theexperimentalvehiclecan beviewedinthevideoshowninS1. 4.1. ExperimentalSetup ADWCsystemwasconstructed in laboratoryscale tovalidate theoperationof theACASsystem.
