recorded salinity of the raw effluent oscillates between 2110 and 9580 ÎĽS / cm with an average of 4094.17 ÎĽS / cm. This conductivity is essentially related to the rich rejection in chemical charges (washing water, dye and salts ...). The values recorded are relatively high, which can cause problems of aggressiveness in the pipes. Above 3000 ÎĽS / cm, conditions are unfavorable for a normal ecological balance. Table 9 and figure 6 show the conductivity of the liquid discharges. 4.6. Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) Table 10. Graphical representation of the COD of the liquid discharges of the 5 industrial units and the final collector The daily monitoring of the main COD rejection of all the units, including that of the collector, shows very high values which far exceed the limits allowed of the direct discharges by the Moroccan standard (1000 mg of O2 / l) and international standards. Indeed, the COD values vary between 24.96 and 10253.3 mg of O2 / l with an average of 3180 mg of O2 / l. Furthermore, comparing the results of COD obtained between the margarine industry 01 and its counterpart number 02 we observe a big difference. The day of our sampling coincided with the day of the global cleaning of the equipment of the margarine industry 2. And that also affected all the results. Table 10 and figure 7 show the chemical oxygen demand of the liquid discharges. 4.7. Biochemical oxygen demand for 5 days (BOD5) Table 11.
