Her scientific research focuses on the study of the sociological classics and their questions about the relationship between the individual and society, applied to contemporary socio-cultural transformations. Among her recent publications are “Out of the Great Recession: The Con- ditions for Prosperity Beyond Individualism and Consumerism” (with Giaccardi C. and Silla C.; in: Magatti M., ed., The Crisis Conundrum. Thus, the challenge is to at- tempt to rethink freedom from its internal relational matrix. This article aims to offer a contribution to the ongoing debate on freedom and explores freedom in the context of a new model for human coexistence and social development. It suggests shifting the vision of freedom based on quantitative growth and con- sumption to a more advanced perspective of social organisation, in which “gen- erative” freedom reflects a relational anthropological vision.
