Wasserkünste In addition to sampling points,wells, and anopen canal, theNeustadt of Einbeckhad aWas- serkunst since the 15th century.39 Itwasnecessary to lift thewater into thepipes, as the flowof the surrounding streams seems not to have been strong enough.
