Table 5. Subject’s ranking of the easiest to most difficult. The subject felt the most assistance at the
highest assistance level (pattern 3, 404.5 N) followed by medium (pattern 2, 224 N), low (pattern 1, 150.9 N)
then no assistance. As such, if the level of assistance is higher, the subject is likely to feel more assistance.
Questionnaire: What is the order in which the coil spring relief load effect was high?
4. Discussion
Telescopic system to support the lower limb was effective for reducing the stress
applied on the knee upon lifting a weight. This system is effective for the movement
that is encouraged in workplaces where heavy lifting is involved. Importance of Assist
Suit capable of reducing not only the stress applied to the lumbar but suit capable of
reducing the stress applied on the knee was recognized. In the future, a more practical
solution capable of reducing the workload in the knee, lumbar and arm simultaneously
should be required.
