Conclusionsandfuturework This paper presents a real time emotional maps based on geolocated recorded Tweets that were analyzedwith IBMToneAnalyzer to indicate ameasure ofwell-being. The mapswereable to showthemost frequent emotiondetected indiffernt zonesof thearea fromwhichdatawas recorded.Experimentswereconductedwhereamobileapplication was used to crowdsource emotional states and contextual parameters from students re- siding inaMexicancityandattendingauniversitycampus. Initial resultswerepresented showningthepotentialof thismethodologyforshowingspatialandtemporaldistribution ofemotions inurban locations This paper aimed to explore the usefulness of system to further capture emotional changes in key areas of the city that is currently under development.As anext step,we want tounderstandhow thedaily activities carriedout byauser affect andmodifyboth their emotional stateand thatof thepeoplearound them.Wealsoaimto investigatehow tomonitor the trajectoriesof emotional changesover time.Additionallywewill use the 4quadrant systemproposedbyRULER[13]as ithasproven tohaveadvantages in terms ofpossibleapplications forquantifyingandmappinguser emotions.
