Asaneffort to support thedevelopment of thegamingapproachaswell as provide
an integrated perspective on flood resilience, the FloodResilience SystemFrame-
work andModel (FLORES) has beendesigned to help provide afirst step towards
understandingthecomplexityofthecommunitydecisioncontext.Thefirstversionof
thesystemdynamicsmodeldevelopedisbasedonsuccessfulcollaborationbetween
IIASA and Soluciones Practicas (Peru).1 The knowledge and experience of Solu-
