258 Lost by the wayside – overstepping limits two people to be involved for the person in crisis. It could be love problems, it could be a work problem etc. . . . But the most important thing is a heart -to - heart talk with the person in crisis, where you show your interest.” (Hadaya 2015, 25) It is indeed important to emotionally engage the suicide -endangered adolescent, in order to show her that she is important to others. Sometimes it is necessary to accompany her to a counseling center. The message should be: “I will stay with you, no matter what happens, and stand with you.” This is also the best way of ameliorating one’s worries about a suicidal person. Notes 1 I provide a thorough case study of Malcolm in my book The Young Child and Their Parents (Diem -Wille 2009/2012). 2 This was a qualitative investigation, with data being gathered through narrative interviews. 3 The story given here of Sarah’s case mostly follows the descriptions of Pankratz (1997, 50–65). 4 Description of this case study as described by Pankratz (1997, 94–109), interpretation by the author.
