Two suchcoursescoversoftwarequalityandsoftware testing. • International Software Quality Institute (iSQI): develops its own professional certifications and exams supporting other organisations’ certification pro- grammes. Areas covered include: software testing, management, software architecture, requirements engineering, software development, usability, and agile methods. Standardsforsoftwaredevelopmentstartedtoappearin the1960s.TheIEEEhas been developing the most comprehensive family of civilian Software Engineering Standards since the 1980s. Also relevant are standards promoted by the ISO and the IEC.
