Im vorigen Kapitel (Lösungsbaustein 2 „Customer Engineering“) wurde die Bedeutung der frühzei- tigen Kundenintegration in den Entwicklungspro- zess beleuchtet. Dabei ging es vor allem um das Thema der effizienten Individualisierung eines Produktes, aufgezeigt am Beispiel des Musterfalles StreetScooter. Der „Disruptive Network Approach“ als drit- ter Baustein im Rahmen der RoE-Methodik basiert auf der Erkenntnis, dass sich die eingefahre- nen Kommunikationspfade, wie sie in klassischen Zulieferstrukturen begangen werden, wenig inno- vationsfördernd auswirken. Die StreetScooter- Innovation ging und geht andere Wege und setzt auf Leistungserstellung und Informationsbeschaf- fung im Netzwerk. Die Kernaussage lautet: Pro- duktentwicklung ist als Konfigurationsprozess im Netzwerk mit fertigen Lösungen aus dem Netz- werk zu sehen. Der Lösungsbaustein 3 besteht aus 3 Lösungsprinzipien: Duale Netzwerkstrategie, Side Loading, Kooperationsmanagement. LÖSUNGSPRINZIP 3.1. Duale Netzwerkstrategie Der Disruptive Network Approach32 (kurz DNA) stellt den Kunden in den Fokus aller Aktivitäten; alles ist auf den Kundenwert ausgerichtet. Um den Kundenwert optimal zu treffen, gilt es, genau die richtigen Partner für die Leistungserstellung im Netzwerk an Bord zu holen. In the preceding chapter (Building Block 2 “Custo- mer Engineering”) the importance of early custo- mer integration in the development process was highlighted. This chiefly concerned the issue of efficient customization of a product shown in the example of the model case of StreetScooter. The Disruptive Network Approach as a third building block within the RoE methodology is based on the realization that the tried and true communication paths, such as those taken in clas- sic supply structures, do little to foster innovation. The StreetScooter innovation took and takes other paths and focuses on provision of service and infor- mation gathering in the network. The key message is: Product development is seen as a configuration process in the network with ready-made solutions from the network. Building block 3 consists of 3 principles: dual network strategy, side loading, and cooperation management. PRINCIPLE 3.1. Dual network strategy The Disruptive Network Approach32 (DNA) places the customer at the center of all activities; everything is focused on customer benefit. In order to opti- mally achieve the customer value, it is important to accurately onboard the right partner for the pro- vision of services on the network.
