Wie muss man sich Ihr Tätigkeitsfeld vorstellen? Tobias Reil: Mein Aufgabenbereich bei der StreetScooter GmbH erstreckt sich über das gesamte Thema der Produktion, über das komplette Pro- dukt-Portfolio hinweg, vom kleinen Nutzfahrzeug über das große Nutzfahrzeug bis zum Zwei- und Drei- rad – damit verbunden sind auch Ausbau und Erwei- terung der gesamten Wertschöpfungstiefe zu sehen. Sie sind ein Spross der Hochschule? Ja, ich bin Maschinenbauer und Wirt schafts- inge nieur. Sie laufen also ständig mit dem Rotstift durch die Produktion? Na ja, das bringen Studium und meine Auf- gabe hier schon mit. Wobei es nicht darum geht, Dinge wegzusparen, sondern immer zu sehen, was kann man noch verbessern und effizienter gestal- ten. Wirkung plus Wirtschaftlichkeit. Und wohin geht da die Reise? Ich denke, wir haben noch viele Themen und viele Baustellen, die wir in den nächsten Jahren unternehmerisch meistern müssen. Aber das kennen wir nicht anders. Hatten wir bisher auch immer. Und genauso haben wir bisher immer alles bravourös geschafft. Ich denke, das ist erst einmal unsere Auf- gabe. Wir fahren jetzt die Stückzahlen hoch und das Hochfahren der Stückzahl bringt entsprechend neue Aufgaben und Herausforderungen mit sich, die wir kontinuierlich weiter fixen müssen. Wir werden in den nächsten Jahren vielleicht auch das Produkt- programm in Maßen weiter ausrollen. Sie werden aber nicht auf den privaten Sektor gehen, oder? Wir werden zunächst weiter auf den Flot- tenbetreiber zielen. Aber wer weiß, wo wir in fünf Jahren stehen. Flotte heißt heute Deutsche Post? Heißt heute Post. Das können aber auch städ- tische Fuhrparkbetreiber sein, die eine Stückzahl What is your responsibility? Tobias Reil: My area of responsibility at StreetScooter GmbH extends to the entire produc- tion line, across the entire product portfolio, from the small commercial vehicle to the large commer- cial vehicle to the two- and three-wheeler, which also includes the expansion and extension of the entire depth of the added value. Are you an alumnus of the university? Yes, I am a mechanical and industrial engineer. So you are always running through the produc- tion, red pencil in hand? Well, that is in fact a part of my studies and my responsibility here. It is not a matter of saving things, but always seeing what can be improved on and made more efficient. Impact plus economic efficiency. And where is the journey leading? I think we still have many issues and a lot of roadblocks that we have to overcome in the coming years. But we do not know it any other way. We have always had those. And so far we have always accomplished everything brilliantly. I think that is our initial task. We are now increasing the num- ber of units and an increase in the number of units comes with new tasks and challenges, which we must continually fix. In the coming years, we are also likely to continue moderately rolling out the product range. But you will not target the private sector, right? We will continue to target the fleet ope- rators. But who knows where we will be in five years. Fleet today means Deutsche Post? Currently it is the Post. However, it can also be urban car fleet operators which use at least 50 vehicles in the local metropolitan areas.
