431Not All in This Together: Disability Rights and COVID-19 service providers such as shelters, supportive housing, food banks, and emergency services. On an urgent basis, municipalities have repurposed hotels, community centres, and schools, and other spaces that are empty. COVID-19 has called into question the utility of insti- tutionalization in unsafe congregate settings, and magnified decades- old calls for appropriate, safe, and accessible community support. Conclusion COVID-19 is both a disaster and an opportunity for people with dis- abilities. Another world of accessibility is possible, and COVID-19 is the perfect time to reimagine our relationships to society and to each other. From online learning to working at home and the establishment of more creative income support programs, there is endless potential for people with disabilities to thrive with the right accommodations in place. In a time of tragedy, a world of inclusion and disability empow- erment can be built from the ashes of COVID-19. This is not an oppor- tunity to be missed.
