Vienna, Oct. 28, 1927, chemist, professor at the University of Technology in Vienna, where he enlarged the chemistry department; research work in the field of resins, explosives, the radioactivity of Austrian rivers and rocks, etc.; held 26 patents for gas diving equipment (together with F. Boecke).
