Dreher, Anton der Jüngere#

b. Vienna, March 21, 1849, d. Kettenhof near Schwechat (Lower Austria), Aug. 7, 1921. Industrialist, son of Anton Dreher the Elder. Took over his father's brewery in 1870 and expanded it significantly; also exported beer overseas; in 1913 his breweries merged with those of the Mautner-Markhof family as well as his father-in-law's to become United Breweries ("Vereinigte Brauereien Schwechat, St. Marx, Simmering - Dreher, Mautner, Meichl AG"); member of the Landtag and the Upper Chamber of the Reichsrat from 1884.
